Daum Launched Videolog

The Daum Blog with 2 million blogs added personal video publishing in their blog site. It freely accepts to upload a video source under 100MB and offer an unlimited streaming. So it becomes to be popular for bloggers to limit bandwidth in their hosting company and they make a second blog in Daum. Already Naver Blog with 6.5 million blogs started videolog, but it's based on Windows Media, but Daum has licensed the On2 Flix Engine.

RevU is a review search service based on online reputation. As we rely on the review content by others, whether they are experts or ordinary people, finding good reviews are very useful while we're shopping. Naver Search API

Naver, the korean largest search engine based portal started to offer their search results to RSS format. You can refer to Naver Open API sites. They offer search results of KnowledgeIN, blog, book, shopping and dictionaries including korean, japanese and english.
It follows simple REST method via HTTP. You can see a sample result in http://openapi.naver.com/sample/kin.xml .
Also some good functions are offered as like a list of real-time popular keywords and recommeded keywords, a discrimitation of adult keywords and errota, shotcut-redirection as like Google's feeling lucky. There are many implementation and examples in Naver API Forum.

Bulletproof Web Design in Korean

The second CSS book by Dan Cederholm, showing web designers how to inject flexibility into their designs was translated into korean. The Bulletproof Web Design contains several guidelines to help prepare compelling designs for worst-case scenarios, increasing user control and readability for varying text sizes and amounts of content. Mr. Suman Park did it after first Dan's book.

Web Application Workshop 2006

As tutorial program in NGWeb 2006 Conference, Web Application Workshop was held in Mar. 13th, 2006. It covered new user interface and rich internet applications in web 2.0 era.
It focused on Ajax programming and troubleshooting, Ruby on Rails and Ajax, Flex programming and widget programming with five speakers.

Tattertools goes to open source

The famous korean blogging tool, Tattertools decided to go to open source. Mr. Noh, Jungseok, CEO of Tatter&Company announced GPL Lincense of Tattertools ver. 1.0.3. Tattertools has many 3rd party contributor such as developing plugin and producing theme(skin). He commented the company doesn't have any plan to make a money for selling blog tool and wants to make a platform to brand themselves of each bloggers. This is very simlar with Wordpress.org and Automattic.
In fact, this project was originated by one person and there have been many contributing users to develope it. Many korean developers are very glad to ...
