NHN has announced plans to launch Ijji.com, a premier Internet game destination this fall for the American market. NHN's properties ranked #1 in Naver in search portal and Hangame in game portal in Korea.
The Ijji.com is online game portal with casual games such as poker, puzzle and shooting on Flash and downloaded games such as golf king, gub bound operated on IE and Windows. I wrote Korea has been served the interactive map service made by ActiveX and Java applet by broadband and IE exclusive environment in my A Mashup with Google and Korean Map. Unfortunately Firefox users cannot use map services in Korea.
But, Naver firstly changed its map service to Ajax based without Active X plugins.
In korea, there are several map service providers Congnamul and SundoSoft. Sundosoft is the provider of Naver and Nate. So I expect most of portal will change to operate their map service under cross browsers and platforms.

Recently Google presented own future strategy to stock analysts. Also Yahoo hosts Yahoo! Analyst Day with Semel and all of core managers of Yahoo! You can download presentation files. In summary, they want to offer good experiences and become the major contents distribution platform.
