Ijji.com, NHN’s game portal in US

NHN has announced plans to launch Ijji.com, a premier Internet game destination this fall for the American market. NHN’s properties ranked #1 in Naver in search portal and Hangame in game portal in Korea.
The Ijji.com is online game portal with casual games such as poker, puzzle and shooting on Flash and downloaded games such as golf king, gub bound operated on IE and Windows. Users can make ones own avatars and join favorite games together with this avatar. It is similar with Oberon Games, but most of them are not download game and are directly executed on online. So ijji.com targets US broadband users.

Also you can add ijji coins of cyber money to use game services. These is very fun and poisonous especially to teenagers. If you play a game, you cannot help adding money more and more. Please trust me, so the online game business in Korea is called pocketing a snotty-nosed kids although money is parent’s.

NHN is very interested in success on American game market. So both original NHN founders, NHN Corp. Global CEO Beom-Su Kim and NHN USA CEO Tae-Sik Moon have relocated to the United States to prepare for it. In 1998, Beom-Su Kim founded Hangame Communications. Two years later he was instrumental in merging Hangame Communications with Naver Com, creating NHN as it is known today – he is currently NHN’s Corp. Global CEO.
