Get Firefox Sticker Event over 1,000 people in one day.
I visited Mozilla Office in my US trip for Where 2.0 and EbayDevcon. Paul gave me a roll of new firefox sticker as a gift. A number of sticker is about 1,000 pieces. I thought that half of them had better be given to earnest people in community. So I wrote this event in bulletin board of http://forums.mozilla.or.kr.

Where2.0 and EbayDevCon in US

I went to a business trip in US from Jun. 10th to Jun. 15th, 2006. This trip is for attending 5th Ebay Developers Conference in Las Vegas and Where 2.0 Conference in San Jose.

I'm technical evangelist in Daum Communications owned Lycos.com. We have a platform strategy in communications, contents and commerce. We have number one properties in each area in Korea. It's similar with Ebay. I wanted to learn Ebay's developer support system and feel real scenes in spot.

Slashdotted, Firefox based internet banking

The Korea Post Office decided to support Firefox on internet banking and started the developement project of XPCOM based internet banking system with Hyundai Information Technolgy, the famous system integration company in Korea. This project will finished in November from July and supported by KIPA's OSS Center. Most of country have used standard SSL protocol for internet banking. But, it have been used the plugin based internet banking (especially active-x plugin) in Korea.

W3C Trend and Korea

It was held W3c Korea Workshop in ETRI Daejeon, Korea in June 26, 2005. This workshop was focused on web standard and it's application.
Channy Yun from Daum Communication R&D Center has given a presentation on W3C trend and Korea. He described the current situation of Korean web and emphasized the importance of complying with the web standards.
